Nigel Muir

I’m an experienced paddleboard coach and run a paddleboard school based on the Thames at Richmond which I set up with my business partner Mark three years ago. So far in 2021 I have run paddleboard lessons for just short of 500 people.

I’ve been paddling on the Thames and all over the world since I was a teenager, initially in kayaks and for the last 8 years on a paddleboard. I also do a lot of paddling in the sea in Cornwall, including some long distance adventure trips.

I started paddleboard coaching about 4 years ago, initially part time and then full time for the last 3 years.

Over 40 years paddling experience in kayaks and on paddleboards, and 4 years paddleboard coaching.
